Pan Pan Paint Drawing App
Overview
Chinese American children interested in knowing Chinese ink painting art do not have many opportunities to learn about it in English. The iPad app will give them a simple guide to Chinese ink painting in English. They will know the basic knowledge of the ink painting and how to draw the simple Chinese ink painting, such as learning how to draw the Chinese style of fish and insects.
The Challenge
- Not too many English resources for kids to learn about Chinese ink painting style.
- Even if the kids could understand Mandarin, the books and videos of Chinese ink painting are too complex and boring for them to read and watch.
My challenge is to build an iPad App that makes children learn basic Chinese ink painting styles and have fun.

Read stories from Chapter I to Chapter VI and learn how to draw Chinese art.
Collect feature stickers
Collect stickers in the interactive story and use them in your painting.

Read the story and find the hints to accomplish the missions.

Know about Chinese art style by drawing yourself with Chinese painting tools.
